When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Alabama doesn't allow vibrators, they're not going to be first in this battle.

Blargh. Not good day. Didn't sleep much last night (was really warm for some reason), didn't make it to work, realized when the bus came (to take me to tutoring) that I had left my bus pass, money, and sunglasses at home. Thought I was being lazy in calling in to work but may actually legitimately be sick.

Did I say blargh yet? On the other hand, go Cali! Um, is that how you spell it in that usage? When I was young, I used to think LL was saying, "I'm going back to Kally," so I've never been quite sure.

Yeah, but gay marriage is going to be much more consequential when it's allowed in Alabama, than in San Francisco where it already exists in all but name.

What is even happening?

I don't think so...

Yeah, but California's like getting another fingerhold. Nowhere near solid ground (which I guess would be Alabama), but just a little farther from, um... there's some movie reference I'm going for here, but I'm too BLARGH to get it.

Nevermind. Did I mention my mother's getting married and my brother and father are in Egypt? I am the boringest member of my family.

The best dancer, though, I'll bet.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

How are Frannie and baby bro beanie (I am making up a new nickname that I suspect will only be making this one appearence) doing?

They are both doing well, Cass. I, on the other hand, am still sick. But hey, better me than them, I suppose.

Coding and Sleeping

I am the boringest member of my family.

I am too. Mostly it comes from not being able to afford things like traveling around the world or taking a year off from my job to go hiking and stuff like that. I'm the family loser.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am not presenting a paper in South Africa this year. I am not drafting policy for accepting Haitian refugees into the country. I'm not splicing DNA inbetween teaching med school.

Hi. I'm ita, and I am less exciting than the rest of my immediate family.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I am currently the most interesting person in my family. Though my father and my sister both had vastly more entertaining teens and twenties than I did.
