You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Susan, you mean to tell me that some people know no bounds? I'm shocked, I tell ya. Shocked.

Well, yeah.

But that's a level of counterproductivity that never fails to boggle my mind. I'm not strong on empathy, not by a long shot, but what kind of person who has enough imagination to finish a novel (of whatever quality) doesn't have sufficient imagination to realize how it would feel to be that editor just trying to take a dump in decent privacy and have a ms shoved at her?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thanks, MFN!

I'm already brainstorming publicity strategies, and figuring out what cities I could hit to do a book tour on the cheap. Probably premature, since I need to sell a book before it even becomes an issue, but still....

It pays to think positive, and it's a nice thing to think about.

I don't know if I said it or not, but MFN, that is one extrodinary dress! I'm so glad that you get to have it!

Timelies everyone!

Why, oh why am I up at 6:30am? Well, first of all, I thought it was 8:12 when I got up...a perfectly reasonable time for waking on a Sunday. Now I've had some coffee, though, and I can't go back to sleep. Oh, well. Maybe I'll take a nap later. Nap...that would be nice!

I guess I'm just gonna talk to myself this morning. All you Sunday sleeper-iners. I'm jealous.

Actually, I should get my butt in gear and go to church. Or, I could continue working on my cleaning. Nah...I'm just gonna enjoy my coffee and sit in front of the computer.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm up. Night terrors, if anyone was wondering, are no fun. I hadn't had any for a few months before last night.

Glad you get your OTDress, Maria! Your fiance sounds like a real keeper.

Poor -t! I'm so sorry. Night terrors are awful.

{{-t}} Bleah. I hope you can catch up on some rest today.

Timelies, everyone.

Thanks, vw. when I don't have them for a while I forget how bad they are. However, I'm surprisingly alert and chipper this morning, so no lasting effects. How's your redecorating going? I relaly like everything you've picked out that ive seen, and the descriptions of everything else.

Anne! I still have your Carnivale tape! I've had the worst time trying to print out a shipping label, I think I'll have to actually go to the PO. you won't get all moved out before it gets there, will you?
