Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

I guess I'm just gonna talk to myself this morning. All you Sunday sleeper-iners. I'm jealous.

Actually, I should get my butt in gear and go to church. Or, I could continue working on my cleaning. Nah...I'm just gonna enjoy my coffee and sit in front of the computer.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm up. Night terrors, if anyone was wondering, are no fun. I hadn't had any for a few months before last night.

Glad you get your OTDress, Maria! Your fiance sounds like a real keeper.

Poor -t! I'm so sorry. Night terrors are awful.

{{-t}} Bleah. I hope you can catch up on some rest today.

Timelies, everyone.

Thanks, vw. when I don't have them for a while I forget how bad they are. However, I'm surprisingly alert and chipper this morning, so no lasting effects. How's your redecorating going? I relaly like everything you've picked out that ive seen, and the descriptions of everything else.

Anne! I still have your Carnivale tape! I've had the worst time trying to print out a shipping label, I think I'll have to actually go to the PO. you won't get all moved out before it gets there, will you?

Oh, good. I know that sometimes they can just hang over you all day. So, I'm glad it looks like that's not going to happen.

The redecorating is going well. I've got a bunch of stuff ordered that should be delivered this week. And on Tuesday I'm going back to my favorite fabric shop to have the very nice lady there give me the instructions for making the Roman shades. I also have to finish buying all of the supplies to make them. She's going to walk me through that too. I'm all excited. Hopefully I'll get those made this week.

I got frustrated and overwhelmed yesterday, because I kind of don't know where to start with getting the place cleaned up in order to do the redecorating. The living room is currently the dumping grounds from cleaning/purging of other parts of the house. Some of the stuff is going into storage. Some of it is being sold on ebay or given away here at b.org. So, there's just all this *stuff* everywhere that I have to take care of, but can't do so immediately. So, it's slowing down my process. But, I'm hoping to get the stuff that's going to storage put in my car today. Plus, I'll get the ebay stuff put in the boxes they'll be shipped in and move those to the kitchen. So, slowly this will all come together.

What is even happening?

Oh, -t. I'm glad you're feeling chipper, this morning.

Maria's dress is absolutely to die for, and I suspect her df is, too.

Ben is watching Static Shock. The chief of police was making a speech, when I realized Dennis Haysbert (President David Palmer, on 24) provides the character's voice.

The other day, Julia was watching The Land Before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration, when I realized Kiefer Sutherland was providing the voice of the character Bron.

24 is following me.

eta...It can be overwhelming, vw. I am sort of in the same boat, wrt my house. We have too much stuff.

The fabric for the Roman shades is kind of like this, only purple: [link]

Ooh, pretty fabric. I love moire.

My favorite diner had a special on steak for breakfast. I feel so decdent, now. Gonna laze about reading the paper rather than tidying up the office (which is our dumping ground for the rest of the place).

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

vw, that is splendidly decadent fabric. I love solid colors, but with the weave providing the texture and pattern. Jacquards are good for that, too.

I'm up. My head hurts. I hope coffee will fix that.
