Today at BRU I got Annabel two sundresses. I figure one will be Easter and the other for her birthday party. Which I need to get invitations out for.

Okay, so I was walking home, and at the corner of State and Liberty, I run into this guy probably in his mid-to-late forties. I promise you this conversation actually happened.

"An invited professor and his girlfriend asked me to come down from Traverse City; I'm from Traverse City."

"This professor and his girlfriend, they're pretty wild. They go to some wild parties, with everyone getting blow jobs."

Tell me about it. My MIL is coming up that week (i.e. April 2-9) to help celebrate and to see her one and only granchild. So the next three weeks should be kinda crazy between housecleaning and my Holy Week choral marathon (three services using two different sets of music 3/20, long rehearsal 3/23, Maundy Thursday vespers 3/24, three Easter services 3/27). I love the singing, but it gets a little crazy this time of year.

Typo Boy, I think there is someone else besides Maria (who is not Teppy) who is or was dating a Republican.

Maria you were already very involved with your fiance, when you found us, right? Typo's posts ring a bell, and I think whoever was telling us about Repub!Boyfriend was more newly involved.

P-C, I think that guy was cruising you. There might have been...employment opportunities, but possibly not so much of a co-ed work environment.

I'm supposed to leave in 45 minutes for my big test this morning.

In the middle of the night, my dog Toby started limping. It's a semi-recurring problem, but I've never seen his "wrist" this swollen or seen him act like he's in so much pain.

Our vet isn't open on Saturdays, although there is an emergency number. This clearly isn't an emergency, but he seems to be in pain. I don't want to leave him alone all morning, but I don't think I have any choice.

Oh, poor Toby. I think you're right. If he's swollen and in pain, there isn't much choice. This is another way pets are like babies. You know something is wrong, but they can't tell you how it happened, or how bad it is.
