Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Oh, poor Toby. I think you're right. If he's swollen and in pain, there isn't much choice. This is another way pets are like babies. You know something is wrong, but they can't tell you how it happened, or how bad it is.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

We're just good friends. Really.

The first step is to admit you have a problem.

JOE GOT A NEW JOB!!!

That's freakin' sweet. Congratulations!

So much to comment on. Let's see if I can remember it all.

Susan, much ~ma coming to your family.

Yay Aimee for the good audition! Much luck!

Yay MM for the new job! Such WONDERFUL news!

Sorry Aimee for all the bad news you got today too. Much ~ma headed your way.

Oh, and Aimee, that is one beautiful baby. She has SUCH personality. You are one lucky mama.

Stephanie, that's a little scary. I'm sorry. He'll probably be ok for the morning, though. If it's still bad when you get home, though, I would probably call the emergency number or try to find an animal ER. Poor guy!

I have so much I want to do today. I should probably get to it, but I think I want to chill for a bit and drink my coffee first.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, I think that guy was cruising you. There might have been...employment opportunities, but possibly not so much of a co-ed work environment.

Yeah, I kind of got that impression too, but I was confused as to what my liking wild women had to do with that.

I figure either he was trying to figure out your preference, or going for a bait and switch, hoping that if you got drunk enough, you'd decide to broaden your horizons.

Eek! That's kind of freaky. But, yeah, you're probably right, Cindy.

So, yesterday in creative writing we got two fiction writing assignments. I think I'm going to try to take something I've already written and work it into one of the assignments. It wouldn't take much work, and it's a great story...very funny.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Topic!Cindy is wise to the ways of gay cruising.

Usually people try to get to know a guy better before inviting him to parties where there are wild women. Or something.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

From Traverse City, huh? Hey, maybe it's P-C who almost had a new republican boyfriend! Gar's not forgetful, he's psychic.

Maybe I should be flattered.
