Fred: The size and depth of the wound indicate a female vampire. Harmony: Or gay! Fred: Um…it doesn't really work like that.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hey, Billytea! Long time no posting with. Or something.

Yeah, I'm trying something new, it involves putting in a full workday. There are benefits to it, albeit not for me. No, that's not true, I'm actually fairly happy with how the job's going so far. But I miss you guys. Because you've all gone to bed when I'm posting, you see, and I'm all "Bugger, missed them again".

Billytea! As I was packing (or at least pretending to) the other day, I found something I want to send you. Can you send me your snailmail address?

Yes!

...

What, now? Um, just a sec...

I'd hate to cost you a dollar plus postage, but one of these days, you should send me a shiny Aussie dollar, BT.

I'm cheap. How about you come over and collect it? I could put you up for the night.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

BT! Alive and well. Yay! Man, a dollar AND a place to sleep just to come visit Australia. That seems like an awesome deal.

{{Maria}} I kept wishing for a solution. It seems insane that they can tell you that you owe when you know you don't. I hope Beej's solution works for you.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't think I've hugged Maria. Lemme get on that:

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I hope Beej's solution works for you.

I hope something works. It took me two years with the state of CA for them to quit trying to tell me I owed them back taxes for when I was stationed outside the country. Even if you get it resolved this time, don't be surprised if they pop right back up next year for the same thing. Just stick to your guns.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Congrats on the acceptance, Nora!

In some ways, I'm glad I go to work during the week. It makes me appreciate the weekends that much more.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

{{Maria}} I kept wishing for a solution. It seems insane that they can tell you that you owe when you know you don't.

{{Maria}}. The IRS is telling me the same damn thing, and it's uber-frustrating.

Always Anti-fascist!

Tax problems suck, Maria. I'm sorry. (waving at Billytea again)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

We've had a shooting here that sounds like it came right out of television. In the middle of a retrial for rape, kidnapping, possession and assorted violence, the suspect grabbed a deputy's gun and shot and killed a well respected superior court judge and the court clerk and shot a deputy. He has since carjacked more than one car, including beating up a newspaper feature writer and taking his car, and is still at large.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Yikes, Ginger!

t waves in the general direction of Australia in case bt is still around

Our governor went ahead and declared a drought emergency. I'm taking shorter showers, not leaving the water running while I brush my teeth, going to buy more bibs today because that way I could go a little longer between loads of laundry, etc. I know this is all petty in the big scheme of things, but it makes me feel like I'm at least trying to be helpful.
