Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Even apart from sexual harassment, I'll note that proving a hostile work environment is difficult to document. However, I'll also note that a lot of companies will settle rather than go to court.

Hec is right in this. It's easier to prove in CA than it is in other states, but it is still harder to prove than "she told me I had to sleep with her if I wanted a promotion."

Aimee, are we still going to lunch?

Assuming I ever make it to work, which I need to get to doing.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Anyone know if this is highway robbery or just what it costs?

Sounds like just costs. I've only priced the units themselves, and I recall that sans install, they were still a couple hundred bucks.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

"she told me I had to sleep with her if I wanted a promotion."

Yeah, but you're the silly that fell for it. Like *I* could promote you.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Glad to hear it, A, glad to hear it.

Thanks, P. I use this plumbing co. often because they seem reasonable so I guess I'll just go for it. Man alive - it's always something.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sure is.

Okay, time to go to work.

Laura, are you near Orlando? Just wondering since I may be in that neck of the woods in a few months.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

If it's leaking from the bottom, probably the liner has rusted through so it needs replacing. Water heaters, depending on the size, range from $200 to $500, so that prices is probably not really out of line. Check with them about what kind of water heater they're putting in. If you can choose, you want one that's as energy-efficient as possible. That way, at least your water-heating bills will be a bit lower.
