Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Thanks, y'all. They're not sure what his doctor can do tomorrow, other than get a general read on the state of his circulatory system. He's already on daily aspirin and a prescription blood thinner, so they don't want to add another blood thinner to the mix.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

New Emeline picture! So cute! Also those baby shoes are a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e. I think I have seen baby sized ruby slippers at Target for cheap. This little girl that comes into the coffee shop I go into is always wearing them; she is so adorable and her mother told me she insists on wearing them every day.

{{{lexine's K-bug}}} Quick healing~ma.

Guess what? No fracture. Just a strain. Woo hoo!
Yay, Kristin! Feel better soon.

Kara replied, "No Wednesdays or ho-days?!"

BWAH! Yay for figuring out the camera. The babies are getting so big! They are so damn adorable. I cannnot wait to see them and hug them and spoil them rotten.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Susan, yikes. I'm glad he was ultimately okay, though.

I'm trying to come up with a sports metaphor where you can be formally ahead, but are still in serious trouble with a good chance losing the match. Maybe there was a boxer or other martial artist famous for letting people get ahead on points and then knocking them unconscious. Or manybe there is an equivalent in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey or other major sport.

That would be the Cincinnati Reds. Nobody, but NOBODY, pisses away a lead like the Redlegs.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I forgot to post about mememe.

I finally went to the doctor's today after feeling nauseated and just plain icky since Saturday night. He said there is a stomach bug going around and that most people get over it in 24 hours, but for some people it sticks around. He gave me two bags of saline through an IV because I was dehydrated and I am feeling a little better tonight, and I was finally able to keep down food.

Teacup guy and I had dinner with my family last night. I think it went very well. My mother adores him, and he loved all the good Italian food. There was no major drama. What a relief.

Susan, I hope your dad is ok.

I was finally able to keep down food.

Best news I've heard all day. And glad to hear tea cup guy is getting a warm welcome.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Fortunately I have nowhere in my life that wearing ruby slippers makes sense.

This from the woman who wears a tiara to Burger King.

Well, when you're dining with royalty ...

I'm getting the pig!

AWWWWWW!

We'll have to wait and see if he passes *MY* inspection. If not, I'm sorry, but you'll have to break up with him. Unless you're married to him by the time I meet him. September, is it?
