Good Trouble and Righteous Fights
My mom called to say that my dad had a TIA this morning--he woke up having trouble speaking, and he says he could remember the names of all his children and our spouses, but couldn't name his grandchildren--he could picture faces, but not names. So they took him to the hospital, but couldn't find any evidence of a stroke on the CAT scan, and sent him home. He's going to see his regular doctor tomorrow. He's had a TIA once before, 5-6 years ago.
He sounded fine on the phone, but I hate these reminders of his mortality.
