We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It probably helps that the gf is a vegetarian.

cocoa beans?

Yes! Good! I can work with that!

Wait. Beans are legumes. Isn't that more protein-y than veggie? No matter -- I can always use protein.

Ladies and gentlemen, witness the first known legitimate use for "[person] likes carrots"!

Seriously. She's big on the tubers.

You've been *waiting* to say that, haven't you?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The question is...yams or fingerlings?

It's not the size of your tuber; it's how you serve it.

(Not mashed, one would hope.)

What? No. No. No.

Yes.

The question is...yams or fingerlings?

That's a bit personal, don't you think?

Eh. Tubers are mostly starch, no?

So, um, yeah. Veggies at lunch, and strawberries at dinner! Lots of fiber in that popcorn! Had some milk with the brownie, that's calcium! I'm practically healthy, y'all!

Or, I'm doing laundry *right now* so that I can have something to wear to the gym tomorrow.

You're the one who said she liked carrots. We're just trying to determine if she's a nibbler through a bag of baby carrots, or somebody who prefers a hearty, organic root vegetable that could really flavor a stock.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I realized today that my whole careful schedule for this week is going to totally fall apart. There is no way I can finish my homework on time, and very possibly no way I'll finish grading on time, either.

However, I have done an exercise video, and dinner was brocolli rabe and couscous. So at least something is under control.

I'm practically healthy, y'all!

My reasoning for the past few days has been the "I ate a salad for lunch, so now I can have cookies" type. Probably not the healthiest thing in the world.
