Wesley: And how does your kind define love? Demon: Same as all bodies. Same as everywheres. Love is sacrifice.

'The Girl in Question'

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I guess I'm with Hec in the "Extreme Skeptic" corner. With the caveat that I do believe that there are people that mate like swans...pick each other out and never look back.

Actuaqlly, most of the animals that pair off for life still get occasional nookie on the side. (This wasn't realised until they started running genetic tests on the babies. Um, I mean researchers were running the tests, not the parents.) 'Mate like vultures' would be more what you're looking for, I think.

I was really religious until well into my undergrad years. Now I'm an athiest. If I had to count my sexual partners I think it would take paper and pencil.

Me too, me too, and my sexual partners don't even reach the plural.

Please point me to an organization of any sort that's been around for 2,000 years -- heck, even 1,000 or 500-- that has used power and money particularly well.

Is that a job opening? I'd like to submit an application.

My brother has now moved in. We were just watching a music video:

Michael Jackson: "If you're thinking about being my baby, it don't matter if you're black or white."
Brendan: "That's good, it's a shame about the age limit though."

What is even happening?

Hee! Hi, billytea. I'd COMM that, but I think I'm COMMing too much, lately. I hope someone else will come along and do it.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Plei, the glucose A1c blood test can take 15 minutes if they are using the newer technology, longer for the older style, which clinics tend to use.

The holdup tends to be lab backlog and contacting procedures. In my tiny town of 15,000, they rarely take more than a couple of days to get back to me, and they are using the old way.

My advice is to contact the doctor's nurse, as she could find out for you.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

Wow, I really didn't know that, bt. (Is it shallow that it's less cool because vultures aren't so beautiful?)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronklies.

I'm tired. It's cold out. I just washed my hair, and don't feel like drying it. I have to leave for class in about 15 minutes. I'm still in my pajamas. There may be some logical sequence to these sentences, or maybe not.

It's Friday, right? They can't be faking me out about that?

brillig

Ah, billytea has read "Monstrous Regiment"! Not one of Pratchett's most well-organized works, to my mind, but you can tell the guy is pissed about various wars going on in the world.
