Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That sucks, Nonian. I hope your dad is right.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

You might need a little of that polishing stuff used to rub out scratches, hopefully, nothing more.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The first scratch is always the worst.

Mostly lurking...

vw, that is an adorable pan. You should link to such things before get togethers when I am trying to decide what to get you rather than after. ;)

You're silly! I love what you got me. Plus, you shouldn't be spending that much money on me :)

Poor Nonian! I'm so sorry!

Trust my rage

The first scratch is always the worst.

That's what my dad said, as in, well, now you don't have to worry about the first scratch. It doesn't look that bad because that car itself is silver, but I'm just mad at myself because it was my own damn fault.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Whew.

We made it through a night with no night terrors. Which means, for the first time in three days, DH and I actually got a reasonable stretch of uninterrupted sleep. I feel much more human.

What is even happening?

Oh Nonian, congrats and my sympathies, all at the same time. The car dealer might be able to get you some touch up paint, in the right color.

regular - I couldn't find any dutched. some day I will. then i will have to make a batch with both and see what the difference is.
That's good to know. Thanks, beth. I've been waiting 'til I shopped, but maybe now I won't.

Art Crawl!!!

That's great. May this be the beginning of a new trend.

It's in the 50s here today! I have windows open -- and there's a nice breeze going that doesn't even feel cold.

Woo hoo! Spring-like weather.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It was great to hear from billytea--I miss his regular contributions to my education! Nonian, I'm so sorry about the scratch, but yay! on the new car. And what Cindy said--the dealer can get you a little applicator with matching paint.

I wish DH would get finished fiddling with the PC--I want to go couch-shopping!

My first thought was that you were going to go shopping from your couch. It's shopping for a couch, though, right?

As is true of almost every day, I need to be working and I'm not. The Braves are on the radio. I don't like the new station they're on. There's no real reason so far except that I have to work really hard to avoid anything else the station runs; it's the station of Rush Limbaugh, among other thingsj. I did e-mail the station to ask when the schedule was going to be posted on the web, because I couldn't listen to the station to find out because my head would explode. I did get an e-mail back the next day from the sports director, thanking me for my "funny e-mail" and saying "soon."
