Great. I'll set up a table in Semantics.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Great. I'll set up a table in Semantics.

I'll be right there!
deb, I'm so sorry to hear about Chino. Much ease~ma to you and Nic. May she find a place of light and beauty to pass into.
You're so very smart, and so personable, I'm fairly certain without knowing you in person, or even net-knowing your co-workers, you're going to catch up, and probably leave most of them in the dust, once you've had enough time to adjust.
Probably not, because I like my evenings to myself. But that's good with me, because I'm not a rampant ball of ambition. I have a comfortable life right now, and could support a family, and don't feel a great need for much more.
They're all out looking for you. We sent out a search party. They're set to arrive March 9, so you'd better put that vacuum to the test.
Hee. Get them to arrive a month later, then they can come to the housewarming.
Although now I'm hearing B.A. Baracus in my head saying, "I pity the banana slugs!"
Now imagine him saying it with in falsetto with his legs crossed.
Deb, I am so sorry about Chino. Love to you and Nic.
Hee. Get them to arrive a month later, then they can come to the housewarming.Oh, I'm fairly certain they're planning on staying the whole time. Maybe until January 21, 2009, as a matter of fact.
Harrumph. Just got "Save-the-date" mail about GEE's wedding. And, you know, I am happy for them, but all the same...
Wow. That'll make three weddings this year. I haven't had so many in such a short time in years.
I think during one 14 period (parts of '93 and all of '94) Scott and I went to something like a 9 weddings including our own. I was in one of them. I think he was in two. I might not be remembering them all. We went to one, the weekend after we got back from our own honeymoon.
Anyone want a Rent-a-Kristin? I have many skills.
Did you think about tutoring? At least you could set your own hours, use your skills, and it might bring in at least a bit of extra cash every month.
But I would totally hire you for the head rub. I so need to be knocked unconconscious lately.
Deb, I'm so sorry about Chino. Peace to you and Nic.
Is it wrong that I always pronounce this as "vee-dub" in my head?
Nope. Much better than dubya, in my opinion :).
I've been to BJ's, the mall and gotten dinner. Is it bedtime yet?
Hugs to Deb and Nic.
Annabel did the wakey thing again last night. DH called the triage nurse this a.m., and it looks like we're dealing with night terrors. Oy. But she gave us a few suggestions. From our description of her sleep habits, the nurse thought she was a little sleep-deprived, so we're to try to get her down a bit earlier and encourage longer naps. Also, night terrors come from a problem transitioning between deep sleep and REM sleep, so we're supposed to interrupt her sleep cycle a little in hopes of resetting it--i.e. put her down about three hours before we go to bed, and then just shake her lightly awake right around our bedtime.
The bright side, such as it is, is that though she may suffer from these for years, it's unlikely to be night in, night out. One of the nurse's kids had them, and she'd have them every night for a week or two, then none for two years.
