And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So Jilli, how did your outing go last night?

Also, Robin, did you get my email? ::poke poke::

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

AmyLiz, the Gap website has a pretty good example of the colors popular this season. (Un)fortunately, one's monitor cannot do justice to the pinky-orange of most of the colors.

If I only had a brain...

Most of those colors are tragic on me. The blue is doable.

Because books.

I like the brown and the deep rose (or, uh, "paloma red"). Everything else...meh. I fade right into the background in pastels.

What is even happening?

Those colors all work on me, except possibly for the coral/brown stripe combo.

Damn. Want to shop.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I could wear the blue, maybe. The rest would give me that attractive "recently deceased" look.

I was doing some research for work and was on a professional engineering organization site that was announcing that it had just moved to a database-driven design. A quote:

A jubilant IT insider, who asked that his name not devulged said, "I haven't been this excited since they changed Darin's on Bewitched!"

Hee! (Oh, I like Darrin #1 way better, though--more interesting to wonder what Samantha was doing with him in the first place)

On second thought, I couldn't wear one of the purples on that page. It would make me look ill.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm so tired I'm tempted to lie down on the floor and go to sleep and let the baby crawl on me.

Many a morning at 5:30 a.m., I just sit in a drowsy haze on the floor with Owen while he plays around my slumping body. Damned if I can figure out how we got such a morning baby.

Morning babies are very hard for not-morning people. I bring Sara into bed with us if it's before seven, and let her climb on me there.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

It's raining here, which is great, as it provides me hope that March flowers may soon be on the way. It was sunny and 64 when school let out.

I'm going to dye my hair, because it is that washed out red that I get, and roots paired with my hair's general air of lifelessness leaves me hating myself when I catch sight of myself in a mirror at school. I SHOULD get a trim, but since I shouldn't have even bought the dye on my budget, no trim for me. I hope the deep cpnditioning and the hair dye will do enough to save me from total bad hair meltdown.
