I had a lovely dream last night that Tom and I scored a free trip to St. Thomas. For one night only though, but we were glad to get it.
The winter has certainly been grinding on me, but right now, I am just looking to the future to when it is not winter. Otherwise, I won't get out of bed in the morning. Seriously.
February means the first start of spring and pretty flowers with no pollen, until there's one more freeze in March to kill things off.

Frank, sweetie, hello? Desert dweller. Don't know from this. For us, I wish it could be March forever. It's nice, in a "Don't get too used to it" way. For soon it will be May and I will be assaulted by The Orb. And I'm so thrilled Feb. didn't rip out my heart and spit on it this year. It usually does.
March means suddenly OMG, due date next month!

erika, how's the weather there in early May? DH has a conference there and I may be attending with him.
Early May can be nice, but by the end it's sweaty and hotETA: May is our only shot at "It's a dry heat," actually meaning anything because our 90 is more comfortable than midwest 90 but funny thing, add about 15-20 degrees and it REALLY doesn't matter anymore.
erika, I always figured that "dry heat" claim had a cut-off. At some point, it is going to be oven or steamer, that is--too damned hot, either way.

Most veggies, I prefer plain, just steamed (or raw, although I do love dressing on salads). I don't even put butter or seasoning on them. Love veggies.
