It's weird, 'cause I don't think of myself as partiuclarly funny. But she mentioned it twice. I tried to think back of times when I may have said or done something funny, and I'm coming up almost blank. There was a little part in my final exam where I was a little funny (and I was actually afraid it might hurt me rather than help me), and my paper topic could have been considered witty, I guess. But, it's just weird, 'cause I don't think of myself that way.

You have to find the little wheel of travel in like the bottom right hand corner of the screen when you're at the gate.

The party that I finished with was Me (Dwarf Beserker from BG I), Keldorn (THE most powerful NPC you can get), Jaheira, Viconia, Nalia, and Iomen (although I had Jan for a long time).

Right now, Keldorn (THAT'S his name, dang, I knew it was something like that) is slow to fight, and not as good as Minsc, but I've only had him a little while. I can't believe you didn't keep Minsc. He's my buddy, and he's got a boo!

I think I officially hate the sestina.

Minsc is cool, but with my guy being a fighter and Keldorn being around, Minsc just didn't fit in anymore. It was a sad parting though.

Keldorn is just devestating against mages and later in the game when you run into mages lobbing around 9th level spells at you, he comes in really handy.

Cool to know, thanks Gud. My character is a cleric of Lathander. It's interesting. I'd never played a cleric before. I keep forgetting handy things she can do.

I am back from Lil Sis's wedding. I am so freakin' tired, but I made it down there and back and it's all good. The BF and I left Friday morning and got to my parent's around 8:30pm. Lil Sis, her now-husband and her 2 kids were there. We chatted for a bit then they took off cuz the kids had to get to bed.

Sat. morning, the BF met my dad (he was already asleep when we got there the night before). My parents seem to like him, so that's good. In fact, at the reception, one of my sisters said, "I like J. He seems really nice." My dad said, "Of course he's nice. ChiKat wouldn't date someone who wasn't."

My older sister and her husband met the BF at the wedding. Now, they are not the most enlightened (can you say "racist") and I figured they would ignore my black BF. But, I was sorely wrong. My BIL chatted with him for quite awhile at the reception. Floored me.

BF liked my family, for as much time as he could spend with them. He said that we come from the land of little people and all our furniture is dollhouse-sized. For a man who's 6'4", I can see that. My dad is only 5'6" and I'm the tallest girl at 5'3". I never realized our furniture was smallish until he pointed it out.

We left Memphis Sunday afternoon, spent the night in southern Illinois at the halfway mark, then came the rest of the way yesterday. I'm beat.
