Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The only problem, Katerina, is that once you have high-speed access, you can never bear dial-up again.

Daniel, I've used GTC [link] for my long-distance for at least four years and the service has been great. It's 5 cents a minute in and out of state, with no monthly charge if you pay with a credit card and $1.95 a month if you get a paper bill. There's no maximum charge, so I guess it's a matter of how long you spend on the phone.

Herding cats for fun

(enthusiastic) It's so convenient. I'm getting so much done! I can even use the phone at the same time as the Internet.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh, Anne, yes! I did. Thank you. I was going to startle you with an actually polite, real-life, hand-written, snail mail thank you... and I will, eventually.

Probably.

I'm so sorry I didn't say anything sooner.

Yay, Katie Bee! So good to see you.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Okay. I am getting my hair cut on Tuesday. I am ready for a change, but I can't decide if I want to grow it out or do something shoulder-length. Can't do a bob, even though I love them, as my hair grows up on the back of my neck and it needs to be longer to hang down. My hair is babyfine and straight, or at most mildly wavy. Any suggestions?

while waiting for Mr. Haircut-Yay! to stop by, I will take this opportunity to report that Tom and I are still sick. I made some kick ass mostly homemade from scratch chicken noodle & spinach soup though. It was funny, we were sacked out in front of the TV watching American Test Kitchen all sick and stuff, and lo and behold it was all about soup! Chicken noodle and pasta e fagoli.

I like making chicken soup- it's different every time but always manageable. I started out browning legs and thighs, and ended up doing the whole straining and skimming the broth thing. Egg noodles and garlic and baby spinach and yum!

Tom just put some Theraflu down in front of me. I think it may be time to nap.

Hey, what do you think trimmer clippers are for?

(...in lieu of which) I really liked the haircut you had the first time I met you in LA at that Thai restaurant. It was a shorter shag with lots of (what looked like) razored layers. It had the Yay!Fun component that I personally associate with Scrappy. As a general rule (with exceptions, of course) I don't think very fine hair works as well at shoulder length. Though I've seen it look good on you at that length with (again) the many face framing layers. Mmmm, such a pretty Scrappy.

Let me try to find some pictures. Most of my bookmarks are at work, but I've got to go in tomorrow anyway.
