Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Heh. Now DH is recruiting volunteer knitters from among his coworkers and his blogger community. In addition to the jumper from this morning, he's found someone to make this: [link]

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

just sit back and wonder how I've been so blessed with such wonderful friends

And those of us who know you don't wonder at all.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Gah. I just discovered a huge, previously unknown sore spot of hurt, anger, and defensiveness over something that I would've said didn't really bother me.

Oof, Brenda. I know so well of which you speak. I got a little visceral gut twinge on your behalf, just reading that. Hope you are able to work through it ok.

Hooray for migraine free exams!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I was hoping Brenda had been able to come back and vent. Shot of whatever or a hug to you, Brenda, when you do come back, whichever is most wanted at the moment.

I'm about to go to bed, just wanted to peek in and say hiya.

eta: that's an awfully cute hat, Susan. I'm guessing he didn't think it was a good idea for him to learn to knit, though.

All is well that ends in pizza.

t scans through 269 posts.

t briefly considers pouting that no one reacted to his skinned knee post

t shrugs and gives quick update.

Knee feeling better. Big red scuffed spot, but the bleeding has stopped since last night. I think I can fake it through the interview tomorrow morning.

I hope it heals well. With Diabetes, something like this could well land me back in the hospital if I'm not careful. And still? No insurance. t /obvious cry for pity, even though others have worse problems.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Skipping 80 kajillion posts to say:

Here, Dan, I'll kiss and make it better.

Speaking of IMDB, I seem to have a boyfriend in there. Now, if only I can meet him face to face.

No, I'm NOT talking about James Marsters.

Yay vw for the no-migraine. Punctuation and ~ma to them who want.

Hellbound Equal-Opportunity Nookie Hog

Thanks for the birthday greetings, gang. I took today off and went out for dinner. Had a sandwich that would send the average heart doctor screaming for the hills: corned beef, pastrami and chopped chicken liver. Paradise.

Daniel, good luck with that knee.

{{Brenda}}, and the same to anyone else who needs or wants one.

I've had it for days. But I think since then, the overwhelming majority of my posts have been in Sang Sacre. Which ain't sayin' much. I realize now I should have credited it to.. whomever. Sorry, it has been so long I don't even remember. But I was so taken by the deliciousness of the phrase, utterly swept off my feet by it, that I had a gut feeling that it has an existence independent of the person who ... adapted it from some show she was watching lo, these many years ago.

ETA: rest~ma to Daniel so you can be your best tomorrow.
