Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I can't even.

Resisting the urge to tie this back into the sex conversation.

Ahh, there we go. The "gotta make a chock full of nuts joke" tension is released. Thanks.

I could kind of be the board freak on this one. I don't have the chocolate drug effect (the absence of which is more common in men, I thought?), so I often turn down down chocolate when it is offered around the office. It isn't that I dislike it, I'm just kinda neutral on it, and I know there are people around the place who really really really like it.

My view on having chocolate sucked off my nuts ... oh wait, I don't have to comment on that one anymore. I guess the manner of the application would be kind of key. For example, no cats allowed.

If I only had a brain...

I know that but doesn't their anti-birth control stance an extrapolation of their general stance on life?

Nope. The encyclical banning birth control explained that sex was wrong unless it was open to the chance of procreation. So, for instance, oral sex to ejaculation is just as bad as using a condom.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

So, in completely other news, the reason I am home and able to post at all is that a water main broke in my library, flooding it, and we can't even work on rescuing books and computers because of the asbestos!

Oh no!! Good luck rescuing the books!

Trust my rage

So, sex is only appropriate when there is a possibility of creating life?

ETA: Okay, I see the difference. This is what I wrote before:

I think their belief is based on the idea that all life is precious. I can't see how that could be immoral.

What I should have said is that their anti-birth control beliefs are based on their view that sex should always lead to the possibility of life. Not my view, but it's hardly immoral.

So, sex is only appropriate when there is a possibility of creating life?

Not exactly. If God caused the "not possible" it's ok. So women beyond childbearing years do not sin by having sex.

Always Anti-fascist!

I think that was said before Homicide Oh, yeah, I know they didn't invent it...just the last time I heard it. Munch? Kellerman?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

It isn't that I dislike it, I'm just kinda neutral on it,

My BF is the same way. Can't wrap my mind around it. Must be more of a male thing (love those sweeping generalities!).

Always Anti-fascist!

Nope. I hate 'em. Always.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Thanks, Jessica. I hope that they let us in tomorrow!

Shit. I DO have a partial rotator cuff tear.
