Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

He looked around, straining to hear any noise that would betray someone watching. It was quiet.

"Too quiet," came his inner voice. He rolled his eyes and said out loud, "God. Now I'm thinking in full cliché mode."

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Adding to vw's gronk chorus. I was up at 5:45 this morning. Left for work at 6:30. Got here about 10 minutes ago. A 2 hour commute is way to long. But, I got to spend the night with the BF. I went to his place after work last night to surprise him.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I'd say gronk, but I'm feeling too cheerful. Last night we went out to dinner and left Nick home with the babies. Dinner was wonderful, good food, good company and no babies. Then, we stopped at the store, couldn't get the car to start after, left it there and walked home, made s'mores with the babies and put them to bed. Greg walked back to the car this morning and it's running perfectly, so he made it in to work early. I think there was damp in the starter. Unfortunately, I was too wound up to sleep last night so I've had two nights of only 4 hours of sleep. It was a great anniversary, though.

What is even happening?

I just COMMed that whole, darned noir-go-round. Blame Frank. And Teppy. And tommyrot, for that matter. Okay, and connie, because it was her idea. Might as well blame Hec and P-C too, I guess.

vw, how goes the school work?

Deena, that sounds like a nice night. Yay, you two!!!

Yay, Cindy! I kept thinking, "ought to COMM all that, no, look at all the line coding, I'm too lazy." Yay, non-laziness!

Always Anti-fascist!

Hey, where's the babe with legs till Tuesday? Do I have to tell you people everything?(It's been fun working that for a chick.)

Of all the labs in all the world, she had to come into mine. And I could tell my thesis wasn't the only biochemistry she wanted. "I heard you solve problems."
"Sometimes. If they're educational."
"I think you'll find this very instructive."
And her Poison mingled with my chemicals. Or was it the other way around?
ETA: I stand corrected, so to speak. On reread the BWLTT is respresented adequately...my bad.

I've had coffee. Feeling better.

Also, I don't know if anyone will remember it, but a couple of weeks ago I posted about my friend J who I tried to call...got the nanny, who told me to call her cell phone...and I got a little worried.

Well, I just heard from her. She's been in the hospital since Friday. Her husband is being a complete dick (which is not surprising). But, she's ok. It was so good to hear from her. I was actually thinking about her last night and got a little worried that I hadn't heard from her. I was gonna try to get in contact with her again today. So, I'm so glad she called. I'm gonna go see her tonight.

In some ways, I'm glad I'm doing as well as I'm doing, because it's going to make me able to really be there for her in the next while. When she does go back home things are going to be really difficult, and she told me she's going to need an outlet, and wondered if she could really lean on me. I'm in a place where she can, and I'm really glad about that.

vw, how goes the school work?

The schoolwork goes. I had an idea for the poems last night, and I've forgotten it. So, I'm a little frustrated about that, but I'll come up with something else. Maybe I'll use this situation with J...that might be good actually.

Deena, that sounds like such a wonderful evening. I'm so glad you had a nice time. Also really glad that the car started ok this morning. There's not much more frustrating than having to deal with expensive, non-expected car repairs.
