You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

<sits with Dana in the nibbled by ducks corner>

So ironic, the slayer of duckies being nibbled to death herself...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I went to Quiznos to get lunch. A customer took exception to Quiznos removing corn bread from the menu. He said, "The government is ripping us off, and now you too."

Um, huh?

Give me corn bread, or give me death!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't like today. It's not right.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'd like a do-over....can you make it be so?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Knudsen's Tropical Punch is clear. This is a nice thing to learn as you are spilling it all over yourself.

For all that is holy, please don't make me do over February. I'm barely sure I'm going to make it out of the month alive.

What is even happening?

Give me corn bread, or give me death!
There's something to that philosophy.

eta...

Yeah, sarameg. I never get wanting a do-over. I want skip-overs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think I want a do over. I want to FF to some point after all my upcoming decisions are made.

That splendid (expensive) apartment is still available. I'm going to try looking at it tomorrow.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sorry for the sucky days, ita and Kat.

I'm with Sarameg (eta: and ita) though. I really wouldn't want to have to do February over.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I want this CI chocolate cupcake recipe. It's hurting me to live without it. Hurting. Don't you people understand?

Well, you see, Cook's Illustrated can be obtained in exchange for goods, preferably money in paper or plastic form. It can be found at many a grocery store and book store. This is how we have obtained our current CI, until the next one, when it will be magically delivered to our home.

The chocolate cupcake recipe looks goooooood. Also the tortilla soup. Has anyone tried to make the tortilla soup?
