Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Are you ready to be strong?

I would call her hair more...lustrous.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Lustrous just means shiny, you big copycat.

I mean, you could talk about how smart she is, or how interesting. Or how much fun she is to hang out with. Because she is all of those things. But no, you just whipped out an encyclopedia.

Obviously, I care more about Plei.

Shiny just doesn't capture it, though. Her hair is so much sexier than that.

I notice you haven't mentioned how wise she is. Maybe you haven't noticed? 'Cos I have.

By encyclopedia I think you mean thesaurus. Not many people care about words and their meanings, but I think Plei does.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

This is just icky.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Most importantly, ladies, is that Plei is a good egg.

Did I go too far? You know I was just clowning, right, Alibelle?

Hahahaha. I did mean thesaurus. I have no idea why I wrote encyclopedia.

Of course she's wise, I see that as a branch of her impressive smarts. She just knows so many things. And she always manages to share her wisdom in such a way, that she brightens the world around her.

Of course, everything she does brightens the world around her.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Mmm, cupcakes.

I just finished reading a book with an ending that seems like it's supposed to be uplifting yet bittersweet, and I'm just finding it horribly depressing. (The one couple that's left together, after one partner of every other couple in the book has died, is the one that I'm looking at and saying, "Yeah, you love each other and you're all passionate now, but it won't last." Though, given the track record of the book, one of them will die soon, anyway.)

(Huh. My use of tenses gets really weird when I'm discussing stuff that happens after books end.)

Hahahahahahahahahaha. Yes. She is a much better egg than Steve.

Did I go too far? You know I was just clowning, right, Alibelle?

I got that. I was kidding too. (Not that Plei is not amazing. That I was super serious about. I was kidding in my rivalry with Rio.)
