Of course she's wise, I see that as a branch of her impressive smarts. She just knows so many things. And she always manages to share her wisdom in such a way, that she brightens the world around her.

I just finished reading a book with an ending that seems like it's supposed to be uplifting yet bittersweet, and I'm just finding it horribly depressing. (The one couple that's left together, after one partner of every other couple in the book has died, is the one that I'm looking at and saying, "Yeah, you love each other and you're all passionate now, but it won't last." Though, given the track record of the book, one of them will die soon, anyway.)
(Huh. My use of tenses gets really weird when I'm discussing stuff that happens after books end.)
Most importantly, ladies, is that Plei is a good egg.

This is really how I feel about Alibelle's love for Plei. It's too much, you know? It rings hollow. I think it's more about Alibelle and where she is in her life right now than about Plei, really. Alibelle is in love with the idea of loving Plei, but when the honeymoon is over, her love will disappear like so many cupcakes eaten by me.
Sure, there is not a man on the planet who would not sacrifice a testicle to spend a few moments with Plei.
Would they be measuring the albedo of her hair? Not so much.
Because I would be snarfing the cupcakes, that's why.

I think Rio has just proven that her love is not as pure as mine.
