Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse has abandoned me. I am bereft.

Homework! I'm pretending to do homework!

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Boy-Buffitas: Your goilfirend come into the room after you have become too familiar with the single malt. She needs to discuss her current thoughts about molecular valences.

You nod a lot, right?

Nodding builds esteem.

It says so in the Boy Manual.

The crown comes after you figure this one out.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I think ita should move here: [link]

There's a link with a ton of pictures on that page. And everyone should have their own craftsman home. We'll ignore the price, because it is in a nifty area.

Three bedrooms! That is the home super fantastic!

...oops. Been reading the Manolo instead of the school book. Focus, FOCUS.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

She needs to discuss her current thoughts about molecular valences.

Hybridization is your friend. Maybe a little sp², followed by a discussion of SN2 kinetics.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, that's a hell of a house. When I grow up, I want a Craftsman house (I was drooling untoward during the last ep of Numb3rs).

I saw my second apartment. Costs more than I'm paying now, less than the other apartment. It's bigger than mine, which is yay, and brighter, which is scary. It has a huge balcony. Yay. It's done in cool colours, not heavy oppressive ones. Ick. It's nearby, but in Brentwood, which is a bit twee.

Hmm.

I have told myself that if I get an apartment near the price of my current one, then ... well, no, if I don't get an apartment near the price of my current one, I definitely can't join the nice gym. There's a terrible gym gap here. It's either ultra-swank, or no nice things at all, or the Y. Maybe the Y. But the Y could stand to open earlier.

WHY CAN'T MY PLACE JUST FIX THE DAMNED CABLE???1?

Man. If it wasn't for the whole being-in-LA thing....

Don't you mean your lack of same?

I'm sorry, ita. That does suck.

Also? Why am I still looking at apartment listings? It will be at least a year, maybe two, before this is necessary. And yet I just found one that would be awesome to share with two people, which was something I was considering, since I really wanted to live with my favorite ex-roommate (and her sister) again. It's a cute three bedroom apartment in Silver Lake, for $1700. I need to quit looking now, I think. And maybe do some work. But that sounds a lot less satisfying.
