Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

That's freaky. And sad.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It is.

Poor Bonnie R., too.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Poor Bonnie R., too.

Oh! I didn't know they were related.

How do you think it's going to get back to these folks? Crazed callers?

Based on several LJ reports, I'm pretty sure that's how Lance learned of it.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Hunter Thompson kills self.

Holy crap. Damn.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

One reason I don't feel sorry for Paris, and the other.

If I only had a brain...

I'm so sad and so angry about Thompson. Damn it.

If I only had a brain...

This has to be the weirdest death triad of all time: Sandra Dee, John Raitt (the original Billy Bigelow in *Carousel*) and Hunter S. Thompson.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm reading an interview in Salon with Hitler's bodyguard. It's incredibly disturbing.

Ach, "neo-Nazi." No such thing. What does "neo-Nazi" mean? New Nazi, right? There aren't any. That's just a buzzword. What you have are nationally conscious people, people who say, "my fatherland, right or wrong." My fatherland, nothing more, am I right? You British say it, the Swiss say it, the Israelis say it -- "My country," they say. And I'll fight for it. The Israelis are nationalistic people, they defend their region, they defend their people. They have as much right as anyone.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone needs to stitch together the Jack & Bobby talking heads storyline together. Did we know (via talking or titles) what old!Courtney revealed today? I'm also sad at the idea that Will Tippen isn't getting any more ass, since he bonded with the kids too well.
