Your guesses sound like mine, Allyson. So I'll keep on keeping on.
I'm also going to try going without shampoo in general. Just condition (no -cones) and rinse.
Lee, you're the laziest ever.

Not sad, it's nice, Lee. I am happy because I had a productive weekend. Bought new underwear at Target, refilled prescriptions, visited friends I haven't seen in months, saw two movies, did laundry, and am now off to clean the bathroom. I enjoy feeling like I am getting ahead of all the little tasks which can pile up and become overwhelming. Little accomplishments are sometimes more satisfying than big ones, I find.
Is it sad that I am enjoying my day o' nothingness enough that I almost don't want to have to leave the house for my massage?
I don't think it's sad. I do think it might be a sign that you need some more days o' nothingness.

Wise move. I do that sometimes if I'm not using product at all. If I'm using product, however, shampoo becomes a needed step.
I'm down with the no -cones part. It is, however, a major pain in the ass to find things without them.

I keep saying this, and yet, no one believes me.
On the other hand, BW has nice hot tubs, so I might be able to get warm.

Believe it or bot, I'm working on this part.
You know, life IS like a box of chocolates. You don't know what your gonna get.
Well, except chocolate.
Mmmm, chocolate... I need some.
Meyer lemons are sweeter than standard lemons. I substitute with Meyer at will with no ill effects.

I'm going with Lush to accomplish this. Which means I actually should go to Lush. Right. Maybe tomorrow.

The one product I use daily is the Aveda (anti?) humectant. It's very light, and I can't see it leaving much in the way of residue.
Thanks, -t. I hope I have enough for both lemon cake and lemon squares. They also had Persian sweet lemons, and the one I tasted was kinda gross. They'd not sweetened a lemon, exactly, just taken out the punchy tart bits.
For the record, West LA has the lamest farmers market ever. But good tamales. And I don't even like tamales. I need to find where the Santa Monica one went.
OK, what's wrong with -cones?
The theory is, if I get it right, that shampoo's harsher than is good for hair and scalp, and a conditioner rinse will clean your hair but more gently.
However, the silicone family of stuff isn't water soluble, and you can't get it out of your hair without shampoo.
So if you want to go shampoo-free, you have to stop putting the -cones in.
I don't know if there's anything wrong with the -cones themselves, except for the standard everything'll-kill-ya sort of thing.
