I'd love him forever for Valley Girl alone.
Yes! Matchstick Men was decent but he was amazing in Leaving Las Vegas. I also hold a special place in my heart for him due to The Family Man.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Wild at Heart.
Face/Off.
Erin, let's go have drinks and get our RZ hate on. She just drives me bugfuck. That being said, I did enjoy Bridget Jones' Diary and Chicago. Like Erin said, she wasn't supposed to be likeable in Chicago, so that worked. For BJD, she just didn't annoy too much. And Colin Firth. Enough said.
Sounds like a deal, ChiKat.
Let the secret vodka-fueled first meeting begin!
Whoops - posted in wrong thread (don't know why I prefer this edit to a simple delete.)
But it looks like the conversation has moved on; so I won't post on it unless someone is still interested.
Not so much moved on, I think, as taking place elsewhere. Like in Bitches.
I don't think so. I believe a top knot is generally a bun or some sort of similar pinned hairstyle, with a ponytail coming off it. Not just a ponytail.
Huh. I've always heard the top of head pony tail thing referred to as a topknot. Googling seems to support your definition, though.
If I'd never seen the movie, I'd love the facsimile. If I'd never seen the Baron Boutique, I wouldn't be dreaming of the different weights of the fabric.
While it is a very cool coat, I just couldn't imagine spending that much on one. Though the fact that I'd probably look rather silly in it doesn't help. On the other hand, I can understand wanting the real thing if you're going to go that route.
P-C: Ick. That is why I could never have a Master's degree.

Let's just say it wouldn't be my most expensive coat.
Speaking of which, does the slit in the back of a long coat have a name? My newest long coat doesn't have one, which means every breeze catches it and makes it fly out behind me. It's kinda funny.

That's just because he chose a hard one. I have a Master's in "Organizational Leadership." I'm not knocking the program, but let's just say that P-C can probably get a much better paying job with his degree than I could have with mine.
ION, I'm about to buy a new car. I'm currently deciding between a Honda Pilot and Ford Freestyle. I wanted space to carry the baby and dogs separately, a safe reliable car, price under $35K, and mileage at least 20 mpg in the city (which, I know the Pilot is slightly below that, but it has some other stuff I like). I thought I was semi-anti-SUV, but the Pilot is growing on me.
