I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you think Travolta is smug onscreen, yet you like The ROCK?

I never got the impression that The Rock buys his own press. He's seemed such a warm and mellow and modest guy in interview, and perfectly willing to shed his WWF persona at the drop of a hat to mock himself.

Travolta is the avatar of smug for me, and recent Hanks is the summation of smarm. No Hanks projects have actually touched me, but it sure seems like that's the love-me, feel-me, I-am-everyman thing he has going.

Oh, and Cumming's Nightcrawler was not the Nightcrawler I have a crush on. Serviceable, but separate.

I'm getting the pig!

I need to watch Turner and Hooch again. And buy tissues because there will be tears.

If I have extra time in the morning, due to waking up early or pets shoving me out of bed, I will simply waste more time trying to figure out what the hell to wear. It's best if my time is limited.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Add to msbelle's list, Mel Gibson

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I avoid movies with Sylvester Stallone. And Tom Hanks = Spielburg is a combination I tend to avoid. Otherwise, there are actors who will get me to see a movie, but not many that actually drive me away from doing so.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tom used to be on my list, but somehow I saw and enjoyed Minority Report, and Collateral is waiting to be viewed (but that's me trying to work out if there's a need for Foxx-love, mostly). Michael Douglas is DEFINITELY on my list, and Mel has been for a while, although Lethal Weapon is still a favourite movie.

I like Ben Affleck. Totally unsure why.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Kevin Kostner?

No, I take that back - Waterworld and The Postman were both pretty funny....

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Actors that I will avoid movies because of:

I only have 2, but they're inviolable -- Jim Carrey and Mel Gibson.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Michael Douglas

The thing is, give the guy a right role, and the dude can act. Much as I hate the whole Fatal Attraction/Disclosure/Basic Instinct skeevy Michael Douglas, I have to say I kind of adored him in Wonder Boys.

My Mel Gilbson dislike is pretty thorough though.
