ION, why must people who've been here all of six months start questioning every established procedure to death? There is nothing that Doctor Pesty is harassing me about that hasn't already been thoroughly thought through and hashed out, usually in committee by a full battery of division chiefs, residents, nurses, lawyers and a rep from the admin staff who will have to deal with the resultant paperwork. In the last six months I've spent more time writing lengthy memos explaining the same ten procedures to this person than I've spent explaining them to the previous EIGHT new people in the previous DECADE.
As a human being Doctor Pesty is nice enough and all, and apparently great with kids, but as a cog in the great administrativa machinery of the hospital DOCTOR PESTY MUST DIE.
And yes, I did! Thanks so much, Kat; that'll come in so handy.
I really appreciate it.
YAY! Now if only I could get a district tech support person to explain what's going on with your email!
So the MS anti-spyware program cleaned off the rest of it. Color me impressed. I've currently got the PC running a virus scan since the on-access scanner was starting up disabled and who knows how long that's been going on. After that, home. And dinner.
I'm thinking I may pick up some italian beef on the way home, since I never got some when I was talking about it last week and then got one from a place by my sister's house last weekend that sucked horribly. So I'm due for a good one. Especially after today.
Oh, god, our guest speaker has a Powerpoint presentation.
Alibelle! being here is better than building a bust, but playing in ceramic goo does sound fun.
msbelle! Being here is fun, and I'll be spending many, many, many hours with the bust to be. Tomorrow. Saturday. Sunday. Monday. Wednesday. Next Thursday. Etc.
I'm actually kind of scared about how much I am absolutely LOVING my semester right now. Despite my crap day in ceramics yesterday, I really, really enjoy it. I'm loving learning to play the piano. And I absolutely adore all this dancing. I don't know what I'm going to do when I suddenly won't be able to do all these things anymore. The dancing I can probably continue, and maybe the piano stuff, maybe, but the ceramics thing, at least, will be extremely difficult to do. It's a very expensive hobby.
Sabotage the projector, Dana. It's your only hope.
Anybody want to be a cat burglar?
