Nope. Email all the way, baybee. Snailmail gets hung up for at least a month because of security procedures. Anytime I need to send something to the Hill, I use FedEx or a courier if I can't email it.
I thought faxing was considered the best option, because emails tend to get ignored.
I had also heard that emails tended to be ignored, but this was several years ago (before all that anthrax stuff).
Shame on Sens. Murray and Cantwell! Cantwell doesn't surprise me. But I expect a bit more principle from Murray.
Eh, I've always gotten a snail mail response from email to my congresscritters. Someone had to read (or program heh) enough keywords to figure out which topic I was addressing and whether I was agreeing or disagreeing with their stance.
On a completely unrelated topid, this looks incredibly silly:
In brief, the race is a demented homage to the Alaskan Iditarod . But here, humans are substituted for dogs, shopping carts for sleds, and beer for all other liquids
The Ferrari pic is a photoshop, but still cute.

The emails aren't ignored like they used to be. Many senators and representatives are actively encouraging the use of email because it's not held hostage by the mailroom. A faxed copy of the email is never a bad thing to do, but email isn't the red-headed stepchild anymore.
Of course, if it's a situation where a constituent is asking for assistance from a legislator, then FedEx or the like is the best way to go. Create the paper trail....
Maria!
I got nothing. I was just happy to see your name. I haven't posted with you in awhile.
Is life any better?
