Eh, I've always gotten a snail mail response from email to my congresscritters. Someone had to read (or program heh) enough keywords to figure out which topic I was addressing and whether I was agreeing or disagreeing with their stance.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

On a completely unrelated topid, this looks incredibly silly:

In brief, the race is a demented homage to the Alaskan Iditarod . But here, humans are substituted for dogs, shopping carts for sleds, and beer for all other liquids

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Ferrari pic is a photoshop, but still cute.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I thought faxing was considered the best option, because emails tend to get ignored.

The emails aren't ignored like they used to be. Many senators and representatives are actively encouraging the use of email because it's not held hostage by the mailroom. A faxed copy of the email is never a bad thing to do, but email isn't the red-headed stepchild anymore.

Of course, if it's a situation where a constituent is asking for assistance from a legislator, then FedEx or the like is the best way to go. Create the paper trail....

Maria!

I got nothing. I was just happy to see your name. I haven't posted with you in awhile.

Is life any better?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Is it wrong that I think the Idiotarod looks fun? Not as a participant, more as an observer.

The shuffles came into the Apple store in Pasadena, but they are already sold out.

I should just order off the website then, huh?

What is even happening?

What do you look for/at to determine that, ita?

I'm surprised, because the writing across the top of the windshield looks so realistic, although I suppose that part might not be photo-shopped.

I think that's safest. I'm going to the Apple store in Santa Monica to look at Powerbooks this weekend. If there are Shuffles there, my credit card may spring to life, but I'm not bargaining on it.
