And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

ChiKat, she just did not show. Which is terrible, but for somone who is courting emotional catatonia, it makes sense. I don't like it, but I totally understand it. But again, I guess that just puts me in the moron category.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Looking forward to watching my tape.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

No one is calling you a moron, Kat.

And I know that is totally in character for Lorelei, which is why I find myself disliking the character more and more, which sucks cause at first I did find her quirky and cute. In recent times she's been more annoying, childish, and irresponsible.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

While I do think it's totally in character for her, I think it's also not as moronic behaviour as you do, GC. I see it as a reaction to extreme pain at a very weak moment in your life. I'm possibly taking it almost as personally as Kat, although I've never had the same stimulus, I've had near the same reaction -- it felt horrible, but even in retrospect not exceptionally childish.

Huh. Except where I get what she does and understand it and have done similar and you calling her a moron for similar behavior here Gloomcookie "Natter 32 Flavors and Then Some" Feb 15, 2005 9:32:57 pm PST seems to point to me being a moron too.

But whatever.

Debate: Watch Veronica Mars or go to sleep. I've had more phone calls tonight than I've had in the past month.

A quasi-ex of mine proposed to his girlfriend yesterday and he called to tell me that she said yes. It's so exciting and I'm so happy for him!

What made me laugh was his rationale for proposing on Valentine's Day.

Okay, sorry you guys are offended. I was simply discussing a fictional character.

I was simply discussing a fictional character.

I think Kat and I were discussing reasonable behaviour.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Debate: Watch Veronica Mars or go to sleep.

Watch VM! It rocks the house, as they're back to squeezing in three plotlines with payoff.

Hey, ita, did you get the email I sent to you today? It had pictures for you (of Colin Farrell, fwiw).
