Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

apparently I'm good at bossing around little kids.

Don't sell yourself short. I've seen you boss around people of all ages!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Showing up is the talent most amateur athletic coordinators value most.

Not bossing? Man, I suck. It's like getting the medal for perfect attendance.

Thank god, amy's there to validate my bossiness.

msbelle is way more bossy than me, however.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No, no, bossing is good too.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I've only used liquid liner for shows, and I love how it looks, but it's unforgiving and I'm incompetant.

Thanks for that link.

I'll just sit here quietly coveting the heels.

Sweet! The Adventures of Pete and Pete on DVD!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would love to see the DavidS/msbelle boss-off. On neutral ground.

Do the liner last.

Thanks, Alibelle. Nice to have an expert opinion. Brenda, my thing with liquid liner is, it's got to be a clean line, but the shadow sticks on it by accident and then it looks like crap.

Alibelle - Feb 15, 2005 10:00:36 am PST #7816 of 10002
Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

See, I do the shadow last so I can use it to smudge over the parts where I went wrong with the liner. YMakeupIncompetenceMV.

I don't believe there are really any hard and fast rules about it. The most general one is to do what works for you, and so long as it looks good, you've done it correctly. However, it's usually recommended to do the liner on top of the powder because you'll get a cleaner line. Personally, on my own face, I like to line, then shadow, then line on top of that. But other people might not like to apply makeup in the same vein of redundancy that I do. However, when I'm doing other people's makeup, I line last.

Skip class. You're ill.

ita is my new best friend. Of course, now my guilt complex is forcing me to actually write. I suck. I really am sick. In the brain.

Buy shoes instead.

I wish.

[ETA: You're welcome, Jesse.]
