Huh? Really? The Bite the Man-like chew toy that trader joe's carries is close, but it doesn't hold up as well as the old BtM. That one has lasted almost 6 years, including several spins in the washer and dryer.

Also, tail wagging slowly, ears up, up-on-tiptoes sort of bouncing approach? I'm prospective dinner. Furious tail-wagging, ears down, lips relaxed and curvy lowered body posture? Submissive, and glad to see me. But of course, one can't expect a two or three year old to know these signs.

And of course, big dogs are easier to read than little dogs, because little dogs are usually evil-tempered anyway, and if not, they're such dervishes it's hard to get a read on their posture or expression.
