Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

chicken wings - protien as well as carbs and fats

true. The problem is there's a chinese place with a nice sized wonton soup, but it's just shy of being enough for lunch. Add an egg roll, and it's a great lunch. But, their egg rolls suck. So, I am looking for a lieetle something to augment.

I have a plan.

hmm, what's healthier -- a side of fries or 3 chicken wings?

I don't know... both go with ranch dressing pretty well.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm fairly sure I saw Bite the Man somewhere recently - Target maybe?

Kat, Zoe and Sasha have that same hedgehog. In two sizes. It's their favorite stuffed toy.

Hey, that's one Lucy actually doesn't have. She does have virtually the full run of Starbucks bears, and is currently favoring The Bug (the ladybug one.) The Chicken (little easter chick suit) is also a perrential favorite. Those are the names she knows them by.

Hee. I tried to get her to go get my boot for me the other day - only fair since she had carted it across the room at some point. Unsuccessful, but it was really cute seeing her look uncertainly at the Bug before giving up.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Good afternoon. Boss is gone until late tomorrow. I'm watching Buffy and eating a Luna bar. Life could be worse.

Huh? Really? The Bite the Man-like chew toy that trader joe's carries is close, but it doesn't hold up as well as the old BtM. That one has lasted almost 6 years, including several spins in the washer and dryer.

two other fun chew toys? penguins and tennis balls.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Dashing in with leftovers:

Where is Iceman when you really need him?

Theo, you can be my wingman any time.

Wait. Wrong fandom, sorry. But half-nekkid men playing volleyball! mmmmmm

Mmmmm, indeed. Loving juliana. I can overlook the Cruise for the Rossovitch and the Kilmer. Even the Andrews (with hair!) was cute.

I'm with Steph on the spinach pizza love. My favorite topping? No tomato sauce. Thin-sliced fresh tomatoes, yes please. Just keep that manky red stuff off my pizza, please.

I find it easy to read doggy expressions. Lips drawn back grin=not a happy smile. Lips relaxed and even loosely happy-looking=doggy smile. Also, tail wagging slowly, ears up, up-on-tiptoes sort of bouncing approach? I'm prospective dinner. Furious tail-wagging, ears down, lips relaxed and curvy lowered body posture? Submissive, and glad to see me. But of course, one can't expect a two or three year old to know these signs.

And of course, big dogs are easier to read than little dogs, because little dogs are usually evil-tempered anyway, and if not, they're such dervishes it's hard to get a read on their posture or expression.

Also? Dana asked that somebody post the URL to the LJ community for shrift's birthday, since Dana's locked out of b.org at work. People are writing shrift fic as pressies. Pony up if you want to play.

Did I make first 100 this time?

Yesss!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Actually, Dana posted the link in Fic. 'Suela's the one locked out.

For "Dana", substitute "Suela."

Oops. Busted for skimmage. Thanks for the correction.

And still? I'm amazed at making the new thread by the first 75.
