OMG! I just saw the global market ad from Target, and I want to go to Target NOW.

Oh! I wandered through that section in my nearby Target. So cool. Sadly, I have no need (or rather, room) for more stuff. Even that stuff. Reminds me of a store growing up called World Bazar, which was this huge place that was a cross between that, Pier One, a dollar store and ...something. It was insane. And so neat.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

What is this Target global market thing? It's making me want to go back to Cost Plus World Market soon, but any excuse to go to Target intrigues me.

Oh, I never told the story of shopping in the downtown Target the day the Global Market was unveiled, did I? Ai yi yi....

Global Market is basically Target trying to horn in on Cost Plus and Pier 1.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Googling "global market" target really doesn't do much.

Pfft.

Left eye is a bit puffy this morning. Not even slightly painful, though, unlike my other black eyes. Perhaps it's a mouse because it's mostly swelling, NSM colour. This is very confusing.

Colin Farrell was adorable. I don't know how long he can work what he's working, but I'm glad he's worked out to work it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Timelies!

Also, I am not posting from jail.

Aha! Found the Global Bazaar, but not my bench.

If anyone knows of chair-seat height stools, one should give me a holler. Dark wood, heavy stools.

ita, that's 'cuz it's Global Bazaar. My bad.

edit: x-posty with the woman herself.

I just have a mild squick about being able to purchase a statue of Buddha at the same place I buy my lightbulbs and toilet paper.

Didn't the Buddha say something about the joys of proper lighting and a clean bum?

Art Crawl!!!

Good to know that you're still a free man, tommy.

I chose either GG or TAR over Scrubs. I'm not sure which because I really don't know when Scrubs is on. I think it would be amusing to have Colin Farrell on L&O:SVU, or possibly just on L&O.

If a person, hypothetically, leaves a dish towel on a radiator and then goes off to work, what is the likelihood that the radiator will cause the dish towel to burst into flames? You know, before said person returns from work about 9 hours later? A mostly dry dish towel. On a day when the temps are supposed to remain mostly the same 30ish amount all day?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

not snowing here yet and the 1-3 inches we were to get did not happen.

Now we just have mointains of snow between the street and the sidewalk and small paths to walk through at each corner.
