You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Didn't the Buddha say something about the joys of proper lighting and a clean bum?

Art Crawl!!!

Good to know that you're still a free man, tommy.

I chose either GG or TAR over Scrubs. I'm not sure which because I really don't know when Scrubs is on. I think it would be amusing to have Colin Farrell on L&O:SVU, or possibly just on L&O.

If a person, hypothetically, leaves a dish towel on a radiator and then goes off to work, what is the likelihood that the radiator will cause the dish towel to burst into flames? You know, before said person returns from work about 9 hours later? A mostly dry dish towel. On a day when the temps are supposed to remain mostly the same 30ish amount all day?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

not snowing here yet and the 1-3 inches we were to get did not happen.

Now we just have mointains of snow between the street and the sidewalk and small paths to walk through at each corner.

Zero. The hottest a radiator can get is 212, the boiling point of water. (That's one of the advantages of using hot water to heat something.)

I just have a mild squick about being able to purchase a statue of Buddha at the same place I buy my lightbulbs and toilet paper.

See, I'm so used to an aisle in the grocery store containing novena candles, it doesn't make me blink.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm so used to an aisle in the grocery store containing novena candles,

I'm used to the novena candles too, but for whatever reason, they don't feel as odd. Maybe because the candles are dual-purpose (light AND worship, in one convenient package!)

tommyrot, I'm glad court went well!

Well, um... i have to go back in two months. To give me time to get all the paperwork straightened out. There is still a possibility of jail, but it looks to be very remote, unless I insult the judge and tell him he's too much of a pussy to give me jail time.

But really, his whole attitude was that this is just a minor thing (because it stems from an unpaid out-of-state speeding ticket).

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congrats, Hil!

Colin Farrell. Meh. He doesn't disgust me or anything, he just doesn't ping on my lustometer. And it's not an eyebrow thing, because I think Peter G. is kinda hot.

Good luck with the New Exciting Snow, northeastern US folks. We're expecting freezing rain in NC this Sunday. I think I'd rather have snow. Not 2-3 feet of it, but still. I hate freezing rain -- you can't go out and play in it.
