Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Thanks, Hec! That was an AWESOME story.

We always made a big deal out of V-day when I was growing up, but it was more an excuse to exchange goofy cards with family members and eat chocolate. Kind of an "I love you and am glad to have you in my life" day. I always send cards to family and friends who are far away and that's who I get them from, too. I think it CAN be a couples thing, but I wasn't brought up that way, and am glad about that.

Me, too. I love Valentine's Day. I've never had a "real" boy valentine, my valentines tend to be my mom and my best friend, and it's usually arranged in advance. I don't care. Valentine's Day is awesome because of all the pink, and hearts, and candy, and cookies, and cakes, and chocolate, and flowers. So pretty and fun.

I've only ever been surprised with flowers twice in my life, and once was a birthday, and the other was my HS graduation. Flowers are awesome. I even loved the flower exchange in HS, even though the only flower I got was from my best friend, and I got one for her, too. It's all good.

Today I am wearing pink, of course (both shirt and sweater. And makeup), with pink pearl earrings, a ring with a pink quartz heart that my mom gave me for my fifth grade graduation, a pretty pink bead bracelet, a claddagh ring (because of the heart), and a super awesome necklace that looks like it has three of those Necco candy hearts on it, which says: Be Mine. Say Yes. Please. Oh, and of course, I also have my every day pink items, my pink backpack, and my pink iPod.

I love this holiday. And I won't even be seeing my usual Valentines, my mom or my friend (despite the fact that my friend was supposed to visit, but was foiled by the popularity of the airline. Darn it.). I will call both of them, though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tell us about it, farmboy.

Hey, like you never experimented with alternative lifestyles in college?

And for your information, it was a city goat.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

What is this stuff under the posting box, it appears to be some sort of search type function? Has this been here all day, and i just noticed it now?

It's been there for weeks. You've just noticed it now?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

It appeared magically around lunchtime (on the East Coast). Behold the prowess of our developers!

We can now search and jump to our hearts' content!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

My favorite has to be Lisa has Dustin Hoffman for a sub

I think that's my second-favorite, after the Cape Fear episode.

SEAN! You big secret-keeper! Right ON, man!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Thanks, Hec! That was an AWESOME story.

You're welcome! I thought of you immediately when I read it. "Alibelle must read this story!"

More after. Hence living in San Francisco. Where there aren't a lot of goats, but there are a lot of alternatives.

I did not notice the search features until just this minute. Thanks for mentioning them.

Swouncing

Poking head before running home to wish Maria a very pleasant unbirthday.

Now I want to search for something, just so that I can use the cool new toys. But that will have to wait for tomorrow because, well, home now. Bye!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Talked to my sister - my dad is out of surgery and in recovery, and the doctor told her that they didn't see anything wrong with his knee when they opened it up that they couldn't fix, so that's good. They're still not sure how long he'll be there - longer would be better, but there may be some insurance and stubborness issues about staying in longer than a few days. But so far so good.
