"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

amych, that is just insane. (1) When exactly was the vote that determined it was men's sole responsibility to plan Valentine's Day festivities? I missed it. (2) Are people who aren't specifically celebrating Valentine's Day early supposed to avoid eating out for the entire weekend beforehand? Perhaps they should remain indoors with windows shuttered so as to avoid spoiling the mood of the holiday week?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but I am in possession of some sweet platonic ones.

I sent you one, didn't I? (Not that I'm presuming mine was particularly sweet. Well, there was chocolate...) And Jesse and Sophia.

SNERF! Funniest. Thing. EVER!

Yes. I loved the additions you made to the existing text, and was going to email you with my laughter.

Sue, thanks! Curse my lack of cable.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I took myself out to a nice crab leg dinner on Saturday - not too much of the VTD vibe then. Tonight I'm having dinner with a friend - we're ordering out to avoid the throngs of couples in all the restaurants....

No V Day celebration here as DW is out of town through tomorrow night.

Word not giving me fits at the moment, but Excel is. Every time I type IHS (Intensity Hue Saturation), Excel changes it to HIS. Cause that's what it knows I MEANT to type.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I sent you one, didn't I?

This year? Chocolate? Score!

Um, no, I haven't received anything.

I kinda talked trash about a key member in my 9am meeting who didn't make it to the meeting, despite being here.

Turns out his mother broke her hip, and he'd just found out. Oopsie.
