I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

hey, at least the thought of showering has entered your brain. I'm still all zombie like.

ETA: NILLY!

I've already showered, which shocks me. But, the grocery delivery people were coming. I didn't want to be all stinky with them.

Nilly, how are things? I haven't chatted with you in ages.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow, talk about your false (and WRONG) idols.

You should probably consider my worship of chocolate tainted by association and forego participating in it yourself.

Robin! Feel better.

The status is NOT quo.

Hi Nilly! Don't worry about it. Many people were very sweet and wished Maria and me happy birthdays, and they were much appreciated.

Nora, that is true...though the actual process of getting in to the shower seems to be taking me some time and effort, here.

Ack! Robin, feel better.

VW! I'm so sorry I missed you this week. Rain check soon?

Nora!

VW, I'm caught in trying to finish the former semester, and the new one begins next week (yours had already started, right?), and I'm embarrassingly behind on my actual work. Oh, and my roommate gets married in 3 weeks and 2 days, not that she's counting.

Absolutely!

Oh, wow! You're a busy girl! My semester started at the end of January. It's going surprisingly well. I haven't missed any classes yet. Yay! I'm gonna try to keep that up all sememster. And, if I do, I'll buy myself a big treat at the end of the semester. Also, I'm trying to finish up four incompletes from the last two semesters. I've got two done, two to go. One of those should be done by tomorrow. So, I'm plugging away.

Yay for your roommate's wedding. How exciting! Are you involved in the wedding at all?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I recommend The TomW Husband Model muchly.

Bah! Everywhere I go, SOLD OUT!

how every difference, not just the ocean-cross-y language-barrier-y, is really interesting to see, in people's lives.

Yeah, that's a big part of why I like all these shows -- I love seeing inside people's lives a little bit.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You should probably consider my worship of chocolate tainted by association and forego participating in it yourself.

Nah. The worship of chocolate is right and good, and I can always hope it will set you on the path to rightness and goodness.

I like your method.

I've got two done, two to go. One of those should be done by tomorrow.

So you're nearly in three down? Either way, you're at least half-way through.

Are you involved in the wedding at all?

In what sense? If we had bridesmaids here, I think all of us roommates would count as ones. Also, I'm probably going to make the kipa for the groom (very nice guy, by the way). And we get to watch all the preparations since, well, most of them are conducted from our apartment. Last week we folded invitations and tied a ribbon around the fold in each, for a whole evening. I will miss her very much when she moves out (also, I'll have nobody to snark at "Alias" with).
