Sigh. He was impossible to train as a pup and it has gotten worse now. The attack was more sturm und drang than actual attack leading to blood, but Bear is still freaked out.
I think another option is to get a dog run for him and put him in it when we are gone. We have enough land to do that.

Wow, that's crappy. We get 18 sick days, and 15 vacation days starting out. (I'm up to 20 vacation days now.) And there's short term and long term disability benefits if you are really sick.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.
We get 10 sick days per year and vacation is accrued. We get up to 10 days vacation but you have to earn it first. I get 6.25 hours of vacation per month, if you want it broken down.

Wow. We get 5 sick days, 2 personal days. Start out with 10 vacation days. Move up to 15 after 5 years. Move up to 20 days after 7 years.
We have a pro-rated short & long term disability based on how long you've been with the company.
