"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I just got an e-mail begging me to move to Iowa to take a job there.

Iowa is talking about voiding all income taxes for residents under 30. Trying to combat the brain drain. Verlyn Klinkenborg has an editorial in today's NY Times about why that won't work.

But yeah, Iowa wants YOU!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hmm.... 'Thomas' seems to be plummeting in popularity as a name....

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Verlyn Klinkenborg has an editorial in today's NY Times about why that won't work.

Of course it won't work. It's frelling Iowa, for pity sakes.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Iowa is talking about voiding all income taxes for residents under 30.

If taxes were done in person with bar lighting, I just might qualify.

That makes pretty colors, bon bon.

Lee, EW is so at a different and higher level than Us.

Yes. But I'm good since I changed my style from component to something else.

I feel kind of bad for the names that peak and then disappear entirely off the chart. Hezekiah and Lorelei, we hardly knew ye'.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Broken water main and library are a bad combination, IJS. I do get to spend some time at home catching up on buffistas, but all things considered, I think I'd rather not have the broken water main. Whaaaaaa!
