Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Broken water main and library are a bad combination, IJS. I do get to spend some time at home catching up on buffistas, but all things considered, I think I'd rather not have the broken water main. Whaaaaaa!

Ha HA. The elusive font is MINE. For I said, "FIND IT! FIND IT NOW!!!1!" and 'lo, it was found.

Now I can finish off this last task, leave my inbox and voicemail filled-to-bursting, and run away to buy comics.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

DeGeneres says that every applicatn will at least receive an "I ♥ Tara Reid" T-shirt.

Will they also receive a free pair of surgical gloves to handle her with?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, EW is so at a different and higher level than Us.

Really? That's...kind of scary.

How do you change the style on LJ?

Us has gone way downhill the last year. I used to read it occasionally, and it wasn't too bad. Then I got out of the habit. I picked up a few copies a few months ago, and was blown away by how bad it was. I was spoiled by EW, even if I'm thrilled to see it only a week late.

If I only had a brain...

Note that "Willow" first shows up on the charts after Buffy is on the air. [link]

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have a friend with an eight year-old daughter named Willow. I don't think she ever watched Buffy though. I'll have to ask her.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Huh. A friend of mine just named her daughter "Lorelei" a couple of years ago. I didn't think it was that uncommon. I guess Gilmore Girls isn't that popular...
