I'm betting that specific phrase should read "Grand Prize winner understands that spaceflight is inherently deadly, and Virgin Galactic is waived from all responsibilities, should said winner go BOOM."
Oh, that stuff was there in spades. I just didn't quote it, 'cause that was the part I understood. I kinda wonder if the "as is" is standard thing for the lawyers at Volvo and that no one has a specific instance in mind for that particular disclaimer. Sort of a catch all CYA.
