Any other profession/art where you've seen that sort of lopsided response?
More Spiderman in IT, I've found, though it's not as conclusive. Wolverine gets a pretty decent write-in vote, and seems to be from fairly confident type.
And
very
few Supermen. But they seemed to be split pretty clearly between people who are identifying with Clark and people who are identifying with Kal El. And none of them are identifying with any of the things I think make him interesting.
I'm pretty sure this'd fall right apart in a true fanboy environment.
Lee is wrong. SWISS CHEESE ROCKS.
Kat? NSM.
Lee is SO INCREDIBLY WRONG ABOUT SWISS CHEESE.
You don't think shrimps and prawns taste similar?
Maybe I've been buying the wrong types. To me shrimp always tastes salty or bland. Prawns have a real seafood flavor - some richness. Huh. I just though you were a supertaster and me with weak tastebuds. Buf if I'm tasting differences you aren't, I guess that explaination was too simple; stuff just tastes different to us.
Swiss cheese is great on a croissant with ham or turkey and mustard. But I imagine it would be pretty skeevy melted onto pizza crust in large quantities. It's kind of a thin, bitter taste that works best in counterpoint to lots of sweet heartiness.
My vote for ultimate pizza is the stuffed spinach variety from Giordano's
I wouldn't use Swiss on a pizza, but in a sandwich? Nummy.

Hahaha! I was totally thinking earlier, "didn't we JUST do the pizza discussion like a week and a half ago?"
Pancake Day has now lived up to its name. I have had proper English pancakes (crepe-like) sprinkled with lemon juice and sugar. Rolled up and yum.
It's our first Pancake Day!
I thought
prawn
was just another word for shrimp. I don't think I've ever had prawns--or maybe, I've never had shrimp. What's the difference? Which is smaller?
tsk, tsk.
How do you pronounce that?
If I asked you how you pronounced "tsk," what would you tell me?
Wouldn't a Life Serial thread be funny?

"I am not a shrimp...I am a KING PRAWN!"
I always thought prawns were at the larger end of the shrimp spectrum.
