The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nobody has the pipes for Janis. Ah, Janis.

Normally, I would agree, but Melissa Etheridge has always been my possible exception, and I think she kicked ass on the song tonight. Not Janis, but still fucking awesome.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Benjamin did the same thing! He would also have his armed raised while nursing/taking a bottle, and it would slowly lower as his belly got full.

He came with a fuel gage?! That's awsome!

I might be too tired to try to catch up on Jack & Bobby tonight, so I'll just have to keep skipping the whitefont.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Emeralds are bad choice for a ring that's designed to be worn daily, as are opals, pearls, and other soft stones.

Rubies and sapphires are good, because they're pretty durable. Sapphires come in all colors but red (because red corundum is ruby), including clear. If you're shelling out bucks for an engagement ring, you can get a good quality ruby or sapphire and still generally pay less than you would for a diamond. White sapphires have been a historically popular substitute for diamonds.

There's at least one company out there that sells "green" engagement rings, made with recycled gold and synthetic diamonds. (The synthetics they use are the yellow ones, but the rings are pretty cool looking.)
