I've had to do tech support to our clients on occasion. Usually, I tend to assume a fairly high level of knowledge. On those times that the person doesn't know what I'm talking about, I get the weird sensation of "mentally changing gears" as I shift to a more basic level of explanation.

One of the local sushi places makes a Philly steak & cheese roll. I guess veal was just a matter of time...
Tomorrow night the SciFi channel will be broadcasting the first five episodes of the new Battlestar Galactica series back-to-back (i.e. they're reshowing all the episodes that have aired so far in the US). 7:00, 6:00 Central.
I'm tempted to TiVo the whole thing, but I'd have to buy a TiVo first....

I dunno. I'm with you on the carpaccio (sp?), but somehow the raw veal doesn't appeal.
