Jayne: Anybody remember her comin' at me with a butcher's knife? Wash: Wacky fun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tomorrow night the SciFi channel will be broadcasting the first five episodes of the new Battlestar Galactica series back-to-back (i.e. they're reshowing all the episodes that have aired so far in the US). 7:00, 6:00 Central.

I'm tempted to TiVo the whole thing, but I'd have to buy a TiVo first....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Given how much I enjoy beef sashimi, I can only imagine the rhapsody of raw veal.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I dunno. I'm with you on the carpaccio (sp?), but somehow the raw veal doesn't appeal.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'd totally try raw veal (in theory anyway)

Does it have a 'Q' on it?

Ditto, but I'll try just about anything that doesn't move of its own volition on the plate.

What if the bit you're to eat isn't moving? Is dismembered, even?

Just bonded with co-worker on having kicked ugly V-8 Splash habits. Except now he's trying to deal Pom. EVIL.

Speaking of ringing phones -- why are all my cellphones so damned quiet? I never hear them ring if I'm not within three or so feet. I can hear other people's -- just never my own.
