'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

ita, you speak French fluently, correct? How about Mont St. Michel?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow, Matt. That's gorgeous. I might indeed dust off my French for something like that.

Say, howsabout Madagascar? I understand that French is commonly used there, it's supposed to have good scuba diving, and it has lots of lemurs!

What is even happening?

ita, go to Jamaica, and sock away the extra money you'd have spent elsewhere, to buy a house/condo.

As long as we're proposing islands that start with M, how about Malta?

If I only had a brain...

Just avoid beautiful Malaise. I hear it's way overcrowded right now.

Swouncing

I'm actually working normal hours and my anxiety level has decreased to "sporadic" from "ever present."

Oh, that's good to read.

ita, I'm still all for Cyprus. And it has nothing to do with it being the closest island to Israel (which is pretty much the only thing I know about it, so, well, maybe not).

[Edit: my post # is confused consecutive digits. They're looking for the equations I won't have in my paper, and getting all lost]

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Looks like BF and I are getting a dog!!!1! I've only ever had cats and am a bit nervous about how they'll all get along and about dog-owning in general. Anyone have any tips on living in a harmonious cat and dog household?

go to Jamaica

I'm going to Jamaica anyway, though, probably at Christmas. It's not just about beach this time -- it's about horizons and their expansion, tasting different cultures and just getting the hell out of Dodge and not having to think "home" thoughts. Sure, I want a house/condo, but I need a proper vacation.

List so far: Malta, Madascar, Mont St. Michel, Cyprus.
