Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Trust my rage

The rider isn't planning to pull the woman onto the horse, just grab her and force her to walk/run away from where she is.

I understand now. I agree about the reins.

I've decided - I'm watching QaF on DVD as my anti-SotU, thumb my nose at the president, evening activity.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just remembered that I still have the Pompeii special from the Discovery Channel recorded. That sounds like a much more attractive disaster to watch than the SotU.

Always Anti-fascist!

I don't think my dirty words are bad enough for SOTU. Yes, Hec, JZ was the good cop.

Our wings are not tired.

I just remembered that I still have the Pompeii special from the Discovery Channel recorded.

I watched that a couple days ago. It was well timed because I had just finished the book Pompeii.

I'm going to compromise with myself and have the SotU on low low volume, or muted, and read a book, and drink.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm going to work on fanfic and/or watch something on the Arts & Learning Discovery Planet & Garden Network. No SotU for me. I'll read the text later.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

By the way, Susan, I love your tag.

For the record:

Genre: French for "has its own section at Barnes & Noble"

So, I left work early today, after several unsuccessful phone calls to maintenance to get someone to come vacuum in there. I decided to go grab lunch, and as I was walking, I unexpectedly ran into my best friend, who had as much free time as I did, so she came with me. I then bought a vanilla Coke, and won a free Coke. And lunch was yummy, too, but it was just a bean and cheese burrito, so nothing really impressive. Then I went to my class, which was ceramics, and now I feel great. I was still kind of tense by the time I got there, despite the fun lunch with my friend, but just the act of smoothing the clay for hours was so incredibly soothing. (Also, for a fun bonus, the guest artist we had with us this week had nothing but good things to say about my sculpture. She didn't even have any suggestions for improvements. Just praise. Which was really fun.)

I'm feeling all nice and relaxed now, and I have ballroom dancing later, and we're waltzing, so that should be fun.

So, thanks for the help this morning, and just to be clear that I'm not crazy whiny/complainy all the time, I had to let the record show that the rest of my day was really rather nice.

Oh! AND I finally talked to a professor from last semester, who I thought I was going to get an A from, but from whom I actually receive an A-, and he told me that that grade was a mistake, and he's going to change it. So I'll have a little boost in last semester's GPA. So that's really nice, too.

How was the book. Would you recommend it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

is C in some Oxygen movie with Jennifer Love Hewitt?

PROMOS???? Now I have to watch something on Oxygen other than Bliss.

Ayup. He's making with the Love. I'm so excited. But it's the third of the tv movies he shot in the fall. I wonder if it's making to air first?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Glad the rest of your day was good, Alibelle. Rough life!

I finally talked to a professor from last semester, who I thought I was going to get an A from, but from whom I actually receive an A-, and he told me that that grade was a mistake, and he's going to change it.

I tell you what, it is a relief to hear that that happens. Because I thought it happened with me, but no, the A- was my real grade, but I was afraid I was a grade-grubbing freak.
