Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Maria, the Marilyn Manson version of that song was stuck in my head for about a month and a half, once.

Luckily, Christina's boatswain is saving me from an earworm at the moment.

Alana Davis

Yes, this is the crazy, curly haired girl who caused the Popeye moments. I actually quite enjoy Ms. Brickell (and the New Bohemians, who don't get nearly enough props) and will happily sing along to "What I am" with no Popeye induced musings. I've always been distinctly fond of the the idea that "religion is a smile on a dog" although I've no idea what that means. I don't get what the squick is with her marrying Paul Simon. Or is it just a Nickelodeon squick?

And, I'm jealous of msbelle's BK. I shall have BK for dinner and watch TAR. I wish it were dinner time already.

hip deep in pie

I've been earwormed by "whatta man."

I had battle of the earworm on Sunday...It was "Can't get enough of those Sugar Crisps..." vs. Rasputin by Boney M. This duel wnded up with me having "Somebody's Watching Me" in my head all night.

My recent earworm has been "Supersonic" which is quite a nice one to have. Here, let me share.

The "s" is for super
And the "u" is for unique
The "p" is for perfection
Cuz you know that we are freaks
The "e" is for exotic
And the "r" is for rap
So tell those nosy people
Just to stay the hell back
Supersonic

I think my head just exploded from all the competing earworms. Thanks guys.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm now stuck on "Isn't She Lovely."

However, perhaps a better father/daughter dance is Anotherloverholenyohead. On principle. Title principle. So not lyrics principle.

Ali -- I can't believe you don't hate "Butterfly Kisses." Its evil is palpable, and there's not even leather involved. I demand you hate it, now.

I am good. Tired from too much working and too much moving, but good. How are you?

After looking at the lyrics, I can safely say that I have never heard the song "Butterfly Kisses". I take it I should be glad about this.

I'm not sure if I had a traditional father/daughter dance at my wedding. DH and I went out to do our first dance and then my mom and dad joined us and then we did the switch partners and my dad danced with me and DH danced with my mom. But we danced to our same first dance song (which was "The Way You Look Tonight" Sinatra version).

ETA: Score! Cereal post. It's the little things, really.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

kat, you moved? I swear to god, every time I see a piece of half-decent furniture out on the street, I think of you guys.
